Airport Overview

Milan Linate Airport (LIN) is the closest airport to Milan's city center, situated just 7 km east of the city in the Segrate municipality. Though smaller than Malpensa, Linate handles approximately 9 million passengers annually and is favored by business travelers for its exceptional proximity and efficiency. Free WiFi is available throughout Milan Linate Airport under the network "SEA WiFi" (shared with Malpensa, operated by SEA Milan Airports). Transport to City Center

Metro Line 4 (M4 – Blue Line)

The new Milan Metro Line 4 (M4) opened in 2023 and provides a direct underground link from Linate Airport to Milan city center. The journey to Duomo (city center) takes approximately 12 minutes, with stops at Forlanini, Susa, Argonne, Dateo, S. Babila, and Duomo. Trains run every 3–5 minutes during peak hours. ATM Bus Line 73 continues to run from the airport to San Babila (city center) in approximately 25 minutes, with a standard city transport fare. This is an alternative for passengers who prefer the surface route or are traveling with heavy luggage. Bus 73 runs throughout the day from approximately 05:30 to 00:30.
